How to Claim Your Blog at Technorati

Put the URL of your blog in the box that says “Start a blog claim” and click on the “claim” button.
On the next page input the “Blog title”, “Feed URL”, “Site description” and choose “Site categories” then add “Site tags”. Now click on the button “Proceed to the next step”.
The next page will show you “Blog claim status” page.
Now log in to your email and check the inbox for any message from Technorati.
If not found, check your spam/junk folder or wait a little.
Open the message and find the claim token.
Now Login to your blog and create a demo post (which you may remove latter after the verification process). Put the “Claim token” somewhere in that post and publish it.
Go to the profile page on technorati again (http://technorati.com/account/).
Find your blog that you added recently in the ” My claimed blogs” section.
Click on the “Check Claim” button.
On the next page click on the “Verify claim tocken”.
You can see the Claim Status. This may take few minutes to verify your claim.
After some minutes again visit your profile page and you can see the Success verification messege with a big green dot.
If your blog fails the verification processes (if you see the red dot near the blog thumbnail), click the “Check Claim” button again and check the feed URL you have provided is correct or not. Make the necessary corrections and again apply for verification.
